Dongju is dreaming bad dreams about being shot by Professor Yeom, he wakes up and then dreams again of his father and how he’s telling him to get rid of the gun.

Its been a while since Professor Yeom disappeared; no one knows where he is.

Cha Gang-Cheon is talking about appointing Dongju as the president of Daesan Energy. He tells that to Dongju and also appoints Eun-Nam as a director.

Dongju gets appointed the CEO role publicly through a celebration and he talks about merging both Daesan Energy and Daesan Chemical. Cha Kuk-Hee tries to raise hell but Dongju explains his decision and how it’d be positive.

Since the professor disappeared about a month ago, Eunnam asks Dongju if he’s killed him, she hugs him saying its ok if he did because of all that he’s been through.

Through a meeting with Cha Gang-Cheon, Dongju shows Seonu the safe from afar. He’s jealous and wants to learn everything possible to take care of the password.

Dongju also helps his friend Bae Won-Bae find a lawyer who represents him to win his case.

A year later

Dongju still waits daily by a burger shop, brings one burger back but doesn’t eat it, he leaves it in the safe. Chun Goo-Ho watches over him but he finds nothing.

Dongju goes to visit Sung Bo-Yeon in their house and eats there. She gives him a photo and reveals she will turn the home into a kindergarten.

Then we see Dongju bring back burger again slipping it into the safe. We find out that Dongju actually kidnapped Professor Yeom and hid him there, he gives him just enough food to barely survive. Since a year went by, he asks again what he wants from him. Dongju says he wants everything.

Later, Dongju meets with Lee Cheol-Yong and tells him he won’t hand in any of the fund to him, he’ll keep the 2 trillion. He also explains how he handed someone important all of the files of his corruption and if he threatens him or daesan he’ll expose him.

Right now, the people who help Dongju are handling Professor’s Yeom’s fortune after he signs all of it to Dongju.

After that happens, Dongju lets him go and cries in his office. When Yeom goes to see his house, he finds out its now a kindergarten. Taeyun visits Dongju and tells him he’s not fitting well in the position he’s given him, but he insists he should try it for a bit more and if he doesn’t like it to let him know.

A lucid Cha Gang-Cheon asks the family for dinner and remembers everyone’s names. It goes well.

In the end, Dongju hands Eunnam the password to the safe and he leaves the CEO position. She drives him after he concludes his job, they stop at a beach and kiss there.

In the last scenes, Dongju takes a boat ride and travels to a yacht where he plays the violin to his dad, he stares off as the sun sets. Professor Yeom gets arrested and while Seonu and Taeyun are chilling together, Seonu pushes Taeyun from a very high place.
