Hongki Personally Addresses Choi Minhwan’s Alleged Visits To Adult Entertainment Establishments In Surprising Statement To Fans
FTISLAND’s Lee Hongki has spoken out regarding fellow member Choi Minhwan’s alleged visit to an adult entertainment establishment.
On the 25th of October, Lee Hongki wrote on the fan community platform Weverse, “It was a private matter between the two, and it ended up like this. He needs to acknowledge his wrongdoing and sincerely apologize.”
Surprisingly, Hongki added, “But let’s not believe everything so easily.”
He went on to say, “I have to protect and endure, that’s who we are. All I can do is push forward, even as I get hit with stones.”
Previously, Choi Minhwan faced allegations of visiting adult entertainment establishments during his marriage, following a revelation by his ex-wife Yulhee on her YouTube channel on the 24th.
In response, Minhwan’s agency, FNC Entertainment, stated, “Regarding the couple’s personal issues, it is difficult for us to fully understand the details. However, Minhwan feels a deep sense of responsibility for disappointing the public and viewers. He has decided to halt all media activities, including his participation in programs with his children. We apologize for causing discomfort and concern.”
Minhwan has also decided to leave KBS 2TV’s The Return of Superman, but FTISLAND’s concert scheduled for the 26th in Kaohsiung will proceed as planned.

again, Hongki steps in & and does say the right thing. Yes Choi has to own up to his responsibility in all this it is a personal matter but like with every story, there’s at least three sides. My only hope is for FTISLAND to continue. They’re my favorite band and have been since I discovered them seven years ago I Hope Hongi is actually as good of a person as he portrays, I do think he has some really good morals. It’s amazing that he was always considered the wild one and he isn’t. I think he’s genuinely a good person and is probably very disappointed because FTISLAND was making a big comeback and developing a whole new audience. The timing sucks for FTISLAND, but he’s gonna do what he can to protect the band. I understand that but you know what he can continue his solo career he’s that good of an entertainer !✌
