Ju Haknyeon has released a new shocking statement making allegations against his former agency One Hundred, and insisted again that he had not engaged in prostitution.

Previously, on June 18, One Hundred announced that Joo Haknyeon would be leaving THE BOYZ following a recent personal controversy. The group will continue as a 10-member team. The issue has been brewing for some time, as rumors said he had met with an AV Japanese actress back in May and the agency had previously caused worry among fans after announcing his hiatus a couple of days back, citing personal reasons.

In their announcement, One Hundred does not exactly clarify what the personal controversy is but said, “We took the gravity of Joo Haknyeon’s personal issue very seriously. After thorough discussions with THE BOYZ and Joo Haknyeon, it was decided that he would leave the group.”

With that, the agency also announced the termination of his contract.

Later, reports emerged that alleged he paid the AV actress for sex which he later denied in a short apology statement.

The controversy grew so big that the CEO of One Hundred herself also ended up issuing an apology.

However, on June 20, Ju Haknyeon broke his silence again. This time, to reiterate that he never engaged in prostitution, and revealed shocking allegations that the agency made him quit THE BOYZ and tried to force him out of their agency without due process.

He said, Despite having already made it clear that I have never engaged in any illegal activity, I will be taking all possible legal actions—both civil and criminal—against certain journalists and media outlets that continue to publish malicious articles.

If there is any evidence that I engaged in prostitution, please reveal it immediately.
Also, I have
not withdrawn from the team, nor have I ever agreed to terminate my exclusive contract.”

He then talked about how the agency has tried to force him out, The agency is attempting to fabricate a reason for contract termination, even though there is no cause for termination stated in the contract. Some media outlets are carelessly mentioning prostitution without any basis, seriously damaging my reputation. The agency demanded that I leave the company and pay over 2 billion won in damages, but I never accepted those terms. Nevertheless, they announced to the media that my contract termination had been finalized. This is a clear falsehood.”

Ju Haknyeon then questions what an agency’s role is to its artist in the middle of such mess, he added, I want to ask: Is it truly the role of an agency—to protect its artist—to unilaterally expel someone from a team, simply for being present in a private setting with a well-known individual, and to then pressure them with a demand for over 2 billion won in compensation? When I refused to accept the termination, the agency sent me a notice of contract termination claiming that it was due to my own fault, completely disregarding the procedures stipulated in the contract. They even included a warning about liability for damages.”

Ju Haknyeon added that he feels scared but will push through, Honestly, I’m scared.
But I thought—if I give in now, this society may become a place where people with no power can be destroyed over things they
didn’t even do. I’ve endured in silence until now, believing that the truth would eventually come to light. But when faced with attempts to ruin someone’s life based on false accusations, I realized I could no longer remain silent.”

Ju Haknyeon vowed to hold the agency accountable for what he labels “unjustly expelling him,” he said, I will hold the agency accountable for unjustly expelling me from the team and unilaterally claiming contract termination without evidence.
I will also pursue responsibility to the end against certain media outlets that have inflicted harm by referencing unverified claims of prostitution. No matter what happens, I am determined to reveal the truth.
I hope this fight can become a small source of hope for someone out there, and I speak out now with courage.”
