Min Hee Jin Personally Comments On The News Of NewJeans Members’ Return To ADOR
Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has expressed her feelings about the return of NewJeans members to their agency.
On November 13, Min Hee Jin shared her stance through several media outlets, saying, “The members’ decision to return together must have come after deep reflection and conversation. I respect and support their choice.”
She continued, “Although there were difficulties, I value the courage of the members who decided to hold hands again to protect one another. I can start anew anywhere, but I firmly believe that NewJeans must remain complete as five members no matter what. I hope the group becomes stronger and continues to grow into a better NewJeans, and most of all, that all five members are happy.”
Min Hee Jin also expressed gratitude toward fans, stating, “I sincerely thank the fans who have stood by NewJeans during these tough times. Please warmly welcome the members as they return after overcoming hardships. I will continue to watch over and support NewJeans’ music and growth until the end.”
After losing the first trial regarding the validity of their exclusive contracts with ADOR, the NewJeans members officially announced their return to the agency just a day before the appeal deadline on November 13 at midnight.
ADOR stated, “NewJeans members Haerin and Hyein have expressed their intention to continue activities with ADOR. After thorough discussions with their families and the agency, they have decided to respect the court’s ruling and uphold their exclusive contracts.”
About three hours later, Minji, Hanni, and Danielle also announced their decision to return to ADOR. Through their legal representatives, they said, “One member is currently in Antarctica, which delayed communication, and since ADOR has not responded, we had no choice but to release our statement separately. We will continue to meet fans with sincere music and performances.”
Later on November 13, ADOR released a follow-up to state their plans to hold individual meetings with the remaining trio.
