Former Adult Video Actress Asuka Kirara Denies Prostitution Allegations After Meeting With Ju Haknyeon

Former Japanese AV actress-turned-influencer Asuka Kirara have both denied allegations of prostitution following rumors stemming from a private gathering in Japan with Ju Haknyeon.

On June 21, Asuka Kirara addressed the issue on her Twitter/X writing, “There are a lot of speculations going around. The article from Shukan Bunshun hasn’t even been released yet. Please stop spreading false information. Not only in this case, but I have never, at any point in my life, engaged in sexual activity for money. I took a photo at the gathering because one of the women who had just met Ju Haknyeon seemed to be a fan. That photo was sold to the tabloid.”

Ju Haknyeon shared a similar stance in a statement released on June 20. He acknowledged, “It’s true that I was at a late-night gathering on May 30 with acquaintances, but I did not engage in any illegal or inappropriate behavior such as prostitution, as reported in rumors and articles.”

He also claimed he was unfairly suspended and forced out by his agency. “Despite there being no valid reason for contract termination under the terms of my agreement, the agency acted as if there were,” he said. “They demanded over 2 billion won in damages and told me to leave, but I never agreed to that. Nonetheless, they informed the media that my departure was confirmed. That is a clear falsehood.”

The controversy began on June 18, One Hundred announced that Joo Haknyeon would be leaving THE BOYZ following a recent personal controversy. The group will continue as a 10-member team. This came after the agency announced his hiatus a couple of days before the shocking news.

Later, reports emerged that alleged he paid the AV actress for sex which he later denied in a short apology statement. The controversy grew so big that the CEO of One Hundred herself also ended up issuing an apology.

However, on June 20, Ju Haknyeon broke his silence again. This time, to reiterate that he never engaged in prostitution, and revealed shocking allegations that the agency made him quit THE BOYZ and tried to force him out of their agency without due process.
