Famous Variety Show To Remove All Traces Of Choi Minhwan And His Kids From YouTube Channel And VOD Services
FTISLAND’s Choi Minhwan, embroiled in allegations of soliciting prostitution, has exited “The Return of Superman,” and all official YouTube videos of him on the show will soon be removed, following the suspension of its VOD service.
According to HeraldPOP’s report on the 29th of October, the production team of KBS2’s The Return of Superman stated that, to protect the children involved, they would delete all official videos featuring Choi Minhwan from YouTube, in addition to VOD services.
On the same day, episodes featuring Choi Minhwan were removed from OTT replay services. Given the serious nature of the allegations, this step was taken as a protective measure for the children.
The Return of Superman took similar action in September when actor Kang Kyung-joon faced infidelity rumors. The production team discontinued VOD service for some episodes involving him, stating they would not make these available in the future. Choi Minhwan’s case is now following the same procedure.
The controversy erupted after Choi’s ex-wife Yulhee publicly exposed the allegations through her YouTube channel on the 24th. She shared a recorded conversation showing Choi’s involvement in such establishments.

In response, FNC Entertainment issued a statement on the 25th to announce his hiatus for the time being, he also stepped down from The Return of Superman. As a result, police are also set to investigate the idol.
