Sing Again Contestant Kim Yun Seol Passes Away At 27 Years Old
Singer Kim Yun Seol, a former contestant of “Sing Again 4,” has passed away. She was 27 years old.
According to the music industry on the 9th of June, Kim Yun Seol died on the 7th, and her funeral was held on the same day. She was 27. Her burial site is Seongnam Yeongsaengwon.
A close acquaintance of Kim Yun Seol announced the news via social media, saying, “Seol has gone to heaven. Her phone and everything is locked, so I couldn’t inform everyone, so I’m sharing it on Instagram. Please stay with her so she won’t be alone on her final journey,” sharing the obituary.
Kim Yun Seol, who won Mnet’s “Boys Kids” in 2013, continued her music career by appearing on “Voice Korea 2020” and “I Can See Your Voice 7.” Last year, she appeared on “Sing Again 4” as contestant No. 6 and passed the first round, once again standing before the public.
The late singer recently wrote on her SNS on the 23rd of last month: “I am now singing again under my own name. I hope my songs bring even small happiness wherever they reach,” revealing her sincere passion for music.
As fans continue to mourn her passing, Kim Jae Guk, vocalist of the band Takapi and a fellow contestant on “Sing Again 4,” also paid tribute on his SNS, saying, “Kim Yun Seol, who appeared as contestant No. 6 with me, has gone to heaven. She was such a kind person,” expressing his condolences.
