Chinese Actress Tang Wei Announces 2nd Pregnancy At 47 Years Old

Chinese-language actress Tang Wei has announced that she is pregnant, marking 12 years since her marriage to director Kim Tae Yong and 10 years since the birth of their first daughter, Summer.

On the 29th, Tang Wei personally revealed the news of her pregnancy through her social media.

She wrote, “Yes, it is true. This is something I never expected, so I am very happy. Our home will have another little horse, and everyone is looking forward to it.” The mention of a “little horse” appears to refer to the unborn child expected to be born this year.

She added, “I sincerely thank you all for your concern.” Along with the post, she also shared a photo of a horse figurine.

Born in 1979, Tang Wei is now 47 years old and is expecting her second child. On the 28th, Chinese media outlets first reported rumors of her pregnancy after she was spotted in public with a noticeably rounded belly.

Tang Wei met director Kim Tae Yong through the film “Late Autumn” and later married him in July 2014. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Summer, in 2016.
